Skaak/Chess

Soos die spreekwoord sê ‘n gesonde liggaam huisves ‘n gesonde gees. Skaak word al vanaf die eerste kwartaal gespeel. Ons poog om aan verskeie skaaktoernooie in die omgewing deel te neem. 2009 was ‘n goeie skaak jaar by Laerskool Bosveld Primary. Ons senior skaakspan het ‘n 2de plek verower tydens ‘n skaaktoernooi by Laerskool Koedoeskop. Tydens oefeninge speel spelers teen mekaar en só word ‘n junior en senior Top Tien opgestel.

A healthy mind houses a healthy spirit. We play chess from the first term. We try to participate in different chess tournaments in the surrounding environment. 2009 was a good year for the chess at Laerskool Bosveld Primary. The senior chess team ended second during the tournament at Koedoeskop Primary. During practice, players play against each other and by doing this the best ten are chosen.
